White Gold Diamond Wedding Set

As you are deciding on which wedding rings you and your beloved desire to wear as a symbol of your undying love for one another you may be interested in how this practice came about and the true meaning of wedding rings. The symbolism and rituals are in everything we do today; in particular is the fact when a man or women commits their love to their significant other and gives them the promise of marriage. Certainly, the circle of a ring represents undying love and the continually renewed vows of the married couple. Rings have been used as a symbol of love for many years.

During the 15th century and only few people were able to have diamonds in the rings above all other types of gems, diamonds was known to be the ultimate gem and symbol with properties that no other gemstone posses, it also has the ability to resist incredible forces of destruction. Titanium is one of the most precious metals when producing wedding rings, it is more beautiful than gold or platinum and the quality and the value it posses is a incredible symbol of the love of two people.

When looking back in history the fourth finger has been seen as the symbol of love, the symbol of trustworthiness, faithfulness, and fidelity. It was thought that the fourth finger contained a special vein that was connected directly to the heart, and therefore this became the official finger for the wedding band.

A popular engagement ring for women is the round diamond brilliant cut. The diamond can be crafted into many different sizes and shapes, so when choosing tempt your fiancé with the clarity and sparkle of the different types of diamonds. Wedding rings hold a deep meaning, even though most of the people look at the aesthetic value.

You’re no longer limited to gold and platinum as the only choices for wedding rings. When choosing a metal that is similar to white gold but much more durable than it a good choice is platinum. White gold goes with platinum or silver and it coordinates with or most fabrics; platinum is a hard metal which makes it very durable for the couples long lasting love.

As more men celebrate their marriage by the wearing of a wedding ring, mens diamond rings are fast becoming the new mens fashion. Titanium is creating a new look and setting new standards as the classiest materials used in rings, many men are turning to this type of metal. Titanium is setting a standard in the looks of contemporary mens wedding bands.

When planning for a wedding something to consider is the purchase of the wedding rings since wedding usually go over budget it would be a good idea to set a budget and follow a plan when planning the wedding. As the wedding approaches and time seems to move quicker trying to find the ring that is right for you and for the price that you can afford will be one the stressful factors you will need to deal with. The style, color will effect the price of the ring while the size and width of the ring band will normally not have an effect on the price of the ring.

O.K. here’s the deal. I’m not a picky, pitch a fit for a real diamond kinda girl. I wouldn’t mind a fake diamond or a colored gemstone even. But I do mind plated gold, because it always flakes off eventually and I plan on wearing this ring for a long long time. I want white gold, not silver or plated platinum over silver, but everywhere I find that has good quality white gold rings, only sells real diamonds. GRRRR. Any suggestions???
I guess if we were a more traditional couple, then yes he would be looking for the ring, but we aren’t so we are looking for our rings together.
It’s not that I’m ‘against’ diamonds necessarily. I think, honestly, that they’re clear and boring and way to freakin’ expensive for what they are. I know, I’m odd, lol

Keep looking. There have GOT to be places that sell rings to suit your needs.

Perhaps instead of looking for "engagement" rings, try searching for a type of ring called a "right hand ring." These will typically be quite exquisite, but will also be more to your needs.

I share your views; my engagement ring is a 1K black sapphire in white gold, channel set with diamonds….LOVELY.

I’m looking to replace my wedding set, and I really don’t know what to get. You ladies out there that are engaged or already married, what kind of ring(s) do you have? And what is your preference? Do you like white gold, yellow gold, or did you just have to have platinum? Do you like the newer or fancier cut stones? Or did you go for the classic round brilliant? Also, for you, when is a diamond too big or too small? What is the perfect carat size/weight? I have a one carat marquise with side stones, that goes with two matching eternity bands. One at the top, and one at the bottom. It’s in yellow gold.

Platinum or titanium are great, especially for durability. Although, I think for bridal jewelry it is always smart to get the metal that goes best with your skin tone. Princess cuts seem to be the most modern style, but I also love emerald cuts for their uniqueness and round cuts for their classic timelessness. While you’re updating, I think you should consider finding a diamond that has more facets than it’s traditional counterpart: i.e. a round brilliant. They do brilliant cuts for many different shapes. Personally, I like a very simple setting and believe that there’s no such thing as a too-big diamond (unless, of course, you are very young or very petite.)

I’ve been married 3 years and i have a yellow gold engagement ring and a yellow gold band. I always felt like I’d rather have white gold since I mainly wear silver jewelry but I never wanted to say anything to my hubby to make him feel bad for getting me a yellow gold engagement ring.
I asked my jewelry store if there was a way to coat my rings in white gold but they said no, but i could get the diamonds taken out and put them in to a white gold setting, so the ring would look exactly the same but be white gold. I told my hubby that I always loved this is yellow gold but have started feeling like I might want white gold instead and he said he is fine with it if I want to do that. Has anyone else done this? I’m torn because I’d like white gold but then again I’ve been wearing this one for 3 years so it has sentimental value to me.

I did it. I actually traded in my entire ring twice now. You should get what you want. It will still be sentimental to you

The ring is 14k white gold. The diamonds in the channel setting are cloudy, and I wanted to know if I could have a jeweler take those diamonds out and replace with other princess cut diamonds.
How difficult would it be to find princess cut diamonds small enough to fit into the channel setting?

This is the ring

http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2507608

yes they can do that just go to a good jeweler an ask them to do that it will cost you obviously but they can an id keep the diamonds in it the cloudy ones cause you can have them put in other jewelry other rings or necklaces anything

This lisng is for a set of diamond and Amethyst earrings. This set matches a necklace pendant that we currently have listed. The earrings are 13mm x 7mm. you wll need to supply your own back for these. Retail for these earrings would be at least $320. Also this is an piece of estate jewelry from one our high end clients here in Naples. Most of jewelry produced now is made in china or the far east, while this is produced to with the up most quality.
